The Source of Strength

Gabe Lopez, founder of Gold Glove Infielders, LLC, was drafted by the New York Yankees in 2002 out of San Jose State University. Over six professional seasons, he earned a .979 fielding percentage and a reputation as a reliable infielder. With more than 20 years of experience, he now teaches players through a firsthand, “Primary Source” approach that blends mechanics and mindset emphasizing:

  • Mental Athleticism — making fast, calculated adjustments where risk matches reward.
  • Ground Ball Literacy — reading the spin and trajectory of a batted ball to anticipate the next hop.

Fueled By Passion

Mentored by some of baseball’s top collegiate and professional coaches, Gabe has worked with athletes ages 7 to 22, from youth leagues to collegiate play. He’s also a devoted husband and proud father, with two children competing at the Division I level in baseball and softball.
